Custom panels on request<\/p>\n

Marine multilayer<\/strong>, like other multilayers, is sold in panels with thicknesses from 3 to 50 mm and various formats. The wood that makes up the panel is mainly of African origin (e.g. the okoum\u00e8 tree) or of Eastern European origin (birch) or even American (e.g. Chilean pine). <\/p>\n

To make the whole of these veneers water-resistant, a phenolic glue<\/strong> is used which makes the panels waterproof.<\/p>\n

In addition to the different types of wood, performance also comes from the use of water-resistant glues to join the different layers of wood.<\/p>\n

Advantages of marine plywood<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first great advantage is certainly its water resistance<\/strong>, which makes this panel ideal for use in those humid environments where \u201cstandard\u201d plywood could not be used without rotting.<\/p>\n

Just like \u201cstandard\u201d plywood panels, it remains easily workable with both hand tools and machines (including numerically controlled ones).<\/p>\n

Another point in favor of marine plywood is its resistance to salinity<\/strong>, with this material you certainly have more resistance than using a poplar panel\u2026<\/p>\n

Disadvantages of marine plywood<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the type of processing and the glues used affect <\/strong>not only the quality of the plywood panel, but also its price<\/strong>. However, the cost is more than proportionate to the benefits and quality. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
